During the hour long workshops children will get to make 2 types of slime with scent and colour plus another extra such as glitter or sequins! Or investigate bouncy eggs and the use of vacuums

A "Spooktacular" three days of experiments and science based activities to keep the little ones busy. Each day will be full of exciting things to get stuck into whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety are adhered to.
This year things are a little different ( a little?!?) and so we have adapted our clubs to ensure that we are keeping to the governments guidelines. To maintain the integrity of the 'bubble' all three days must be booked with numbers strictly restricted to 15 children per day.
We will be exploring topics such as potions & explosions with exploding pumpkins, children will be able to become a bubbleologist and spend a day exploring senses and colours. Please ensure that your child is not wearing their best clothes as things can get messy at times and they must also bring a packed lunch for our daily picnic together with enough drinks for the day.
The day begins at 10am and ends promptly at 3:00pm, we will be based in the village hall in Ellerdine Village Telford TF6 6QT

These are the plans for each day and are suitable for ages 4-11. each day starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm ( please ask if early start and late finish is required when booking)
Day 1 “Up Up and Away!
Today we will be exploring all things that fly, your children will learn how take the perfectly aerodynamic paper plane, investigate how helicopters work and make their own. we will also be exploring the relationship between wind speed and air pressure and finally they will design and launch rockets.
Day 2 “Lights Camera Action”
Does your child love sci-fi and special effects? This day is perfect for budding film makers and super scientists. We will be letting off smoke bombs, making glow in the dark and colour changing slime and experimenting with weird and wonderful sound effects. Plus, children will get to use a real green screen to transport their bodies to far off lands!
Day 3 “Survival Science" 
In this session, children will be learning how to filter water, create fire from flint and steel, cook safely on a fire, build dens and much more to help them survive in the great outdoors. We will also be exploring nature in our exciting garden and learning how we can use it but also protect it.
Spaces are strictly limited so be sure to book early!
